In the last decade, the advent and evolution in molecular biology has led many research labs to focus on molecular techniques rather than old but still essential techniques as histology and immunohistology. Over the years, the GIGA-Immunohistology facility has become a great ally for an increasing number of labs and companies by providing consistent and reliable histology that gives structural and quantitative information to their in vivo studies.

The GIGA-Immunohistology facility has the equipment (Leica platform) and expertise for paraffin processing and embedding of fixed and frozen samples, and also offers paraffin section cutting and cryostat sectioning of frozen samples. Furthermore, the facility provided automated staining for both tinctorial stains such H&E and immunohistochemical staining.

In addition to routine services, the team of experts can offer bespoke services for most histological requests.
